We, the Mark Milsome Foundation, are committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all aspects of our work. As a small charity, we recognize the importance of upholding ethical practices and ensuring our activities do not contribute to exploitation.
Our approach includes:
- Due Diligence: Despite our size, we conduct due diligence to identify and assess potential risks of modern slavery in our operations and supply chain.
- Supplier Engagement: We work closely with our suppliers to ensure they share our commitment to eradicating modern slavery and adhere to ethical standards.
- Reporting Mechanism: As a small organisation, all Board Members are encouraged to air and/or report any concerns they may have related to modern slavery. This applies equally to any and all personnel who carry out duties for our charity, both on a paid and voluntary basis, who may report any and all concerns, in complete confidence, to the acting Chair or Secretary.
- Continuous Improvement: We continuously review and improve our practices to stay vigilant and respond effectively to emerging challenges related to modern slavery.
By making this statement, we affirm our dedication to ethical conduct and contribute to the collective effort against modern slavery. This commitment aligns with our values and mission to create positive change in the communities we serve.
