The Injury Prevention Consultancy report is out now! Please do take a moment to read it.
It puts a spotlight on the high prevalence of injury in film, TV and theatrical production and explores the human toll and economic impact this has on the people behind the process.
The findings highlight the harmful effects that workplace injuries can have on the physical, mental, and financial well-being of professionals in the creative industries. The occurrence of injury in production not only affects individuals but can also have a ripple effect across departments, affecting cast, crew and at times risking the viability of productions altogether.
These results indicate a sector wide problem, but one which key stakeholders have an opportunity to address.

This week, we’re celebrating National Careers Week, which highlights opportunities for young people to explore and pursue their dream careers.
Supporting the next generation in breaking into the Film and TV industry is a key part of our mission - and something we’re truly passionate about.
As part of this commitment, we’ve been running Foot in the Door, a scheme that takes on 2-3 aspiring camera trainees each year, providing them with mentorship and hands-on experience. We are currently revising the scheme and will announce our new plans soon.
Various MMF trainees are pictured above. To find out more about our trainees click the link in our bio.
